Big Brother 19 - Episode 24: Two, Two, Two Ousts in One!

That's right, it's Double Eviction night, folks!  That lovely evening where an entire week of BB is crammed into a one-hour episode!  #ButFirst...

The night begins with the first eviction.  Because of the increased activity, there's no time to waste. Elena starts with her eviction speech, and I swear on EVERYTHING that I have no idea what she said, or what it meant.  I won't even try to speculate.

Cody stands up and tells the house that Alex and Jason have spoken with him on two different occasions to try to keep him and flip the house.  First, he said the plan was to get rid of Matt and put up Raven, then he said they were turning on Paul.  Both Alex and Jason gave that a huge thumbs down.  I'm pretty sure no one believed it, but he had to try, right?  Matt says that his goal is to eat 1,000 bowls of cereal in the house, so to please keep him because he his a few hundred bowls shy.  Cody's eviction is unanimous, and this jack-ass literally walks across the coffee table to avoid everyone, pick up his bag and walk out the front door.  No one even attempted to get off of the couch and walk him out.  No reason for false pretenses at this point.

The HoH is a shuffle board-style competition, played in rounds of two.  Each HG pushes their disc across the board.  The person whose disc goes the farthest without falling off of the board wins the round.  They, in turn, get to pick the next two players to go head-to head.  The last HG standing wins HoH.  Jason wins and only has a few minutes to strategize.  Everyone ends up in the couch room (sorry, I can't think of the actual name of the room right now!) and Jason tells Mark that he's going to make a speech, but it'll be okay.  Whatever that means...

Jason says that even though he and Mark will be boys outside of the house, Cody told him that Mark and Elena couldn't be trusted in anything they said.   Jason then said that he and Mark played chess and Mark said they needed to make a big move and get "him" out.  This confused me a little because if this is the conversation they showed on an earlier episode, Mark was saying that the "big move" needed to be to get Paul out.  He then says that because Elena went back on her word with his ride-or-die Alex, he put her on the block as well.

The Veto comp is a puzzle comp.  There are three animal shapes, and you have to fit geometric shapes inside of it to complete the puzzle.  Once you finish the first, you move on to the second, and so on.  The first person to finish all of the puzzles with each piece laying completely flat wins the comp.  Jason, Mark Elena played, as well as Josh, Raven, and Matt, chosen by random draw.  I must say, Mark, killed it. He won the competition fairly easily.  He and Jason were neck-and-neck for a while, but Mark pulled out the win.  After the comp, he is hugging Elena and telling her how sorry he is.  She comforts him and tells him it's going to be all right.  Their relationship is a weird one.  I feel like Mark thinks it's a strong relationship, where as Elena pretends it's strong when it suits her.  She tried to distance herself in the eyes of the house a couple of weeks ago.  Mark pulls himself off of the block and Matt goes up as the replacement nominee.

Elena didn't even address the house in this speech.  She told her mom to schedule the appointment to get the dog's teeth cleaned.  Whatever, she can leave now.  Matt brought up the fact that he didn't eat hundreds of bowls of cereal in the half hour that has passed from the last eviction to this one, so please keep him in the house.  I like him.  He's a nice guy, but that's gonna bite him in the ass sooner rather than later.

Side note: During the live vote, Josh says "I sadly vote to evict my 5th-grade crush, Elena."  WTF is he even talking about?

With Mark being her only vote, Elena is evicted from the house and will join Cody in Jury.  While out with Julie, Elena said that "the small target on her back just increased and increased and increased."  Bitch, you increased that target when you went back on your deal with Alex!  No one to blame but yourself.  Bye, Felicia!

There's a special episode with #BB16 winner Derek!  I'm excited to see him again, he was one of my favorite players strategy-wise.  I assume he's hosting the HoH competition, and nominations will be reserved for Sunday's episode.  Are you glad to see Cody and Elena gone? I know I am.  It's getting down to business, and people (Matt, Raven, and Kevin) are going to really need to step up if they're going to stay in the house.  Mark has proven that he can save himself when necessary.  It's only gonna go uphill from here!
