The Perfect Weekend

I had the most wonderful birthday weekend, courtesy of my wonderful husband.  He flew in my friends Talaya and Azure for the weekend to hang out and celebrate with me...aren't they cute?



They got in Saturday morning.  We had lunch at Joe's Farm Grill and they loved it!  I had a hair appointment that afternoon, but they were happy to just "hang out" with me.  That night my mom joined us for dinner at The Melting Pot which was INCREDIBLE!  We had their latest Big Night Out menu, which was Colorado inspired.  Delicious!  Still hands down my favorite restaurant.

Sunday is Cardinals Day in the Jordan household, and Tee and Azure got to experience it first-hand.  We were playing the Seahawks and won, so it was a very happy household indeed!  That night I took them to the casino at Wild Horse Pass.  Azure was the only one who won!  We had a great time though.

I was so grateful to have them here, even though it was only for a weekend.  I miss them so much.  For me, my friends are my family...and they're what make me miss home.  Yes, I cried at the airport when I had to drop them off.
